Sandwell's economic recovery - how we will do it together

The event will be explaining Sandwell Council’s recovery plan for business, talking through the story – as Sandwell shifts from supporting business and residents through Covid, into recovery and future success and discussing the immediate actions over the next 6 months, with a focus on results in the next year as we move out of the pandemic.

You will have an opportunity to see our five-year plan and strategy for economic growth and how we will now need to accelerate action to deliver more and better jobs, through new, existing and growing business and how will we be listening to businesses to enable us to deliver!

See how we will be delivering major projects and making sure they lead to business investment that creates good jobs for residents, without them having to leave the borough, whilst maximising the impact of our investment.

You will also get to see what our ambitions are to increase start-ups and entrepreneurs, to increase the number of high-value businesses in the borough, to become climate resilient in Sandwell.
Looking at our ambitions to increase new inward investment and investment from existing business, creating more good jobs, to establish Sandwell as a growing centre of health innovation, to ensure we have good jobs in Sandwell by improving the amount and quality of work available.
