Sandwell was given the opportunity to put forward Town Investment Plans for three towns in the Borough; West Bromwich, Rowley Regis and Smethwick.
Sandwell accepted the challenge to identify interventions to assist with sustainable economic regeneration and deliver long term economic and productivity growth. This is a reflection of Sandwell’s unparalleled track record over four decades in successfully bidding for and delivering schemes.
The event will showcase Sandwell’s Town Fund projects in more detail, identifying who the partners are and major stakeholders that will benefit from these interventions. It will also give opportunity to see how Sandwell is meeting the challenges and reacting to a different world post-pandemic, making a genuine and meaningful difference to the life chances and prosperity of its citizens and to the competitiveness and profitability of its businesses.
