ABOUT ABOUT

The West Midlands is leading the green revolution by committing to become a net zero carbon economy by 2041, and the local business community has a key role to play.

The commitment to remove more carbon than is put into the economy nine years before national government targets is ambitious, and will require collaboration from business. Organisations who fail to adapt their business models, or incorporate climate risk into their business plans, risk lagging behind their competitors, and more importantly, missing out on business opportunities.

The Net Zero pledge has been developed by the West Midlands Combined Authority to help businesses work towards becoming net zero, and demonstrate to their customers and the wider business community, that they are committed to the low carbon economy.

Join us at this event to understand how the Net Zero pledge will help you reduce your environmental impact, save costs, and prepare your business for climate change impacts.
